Parish Health Ministry

The ministry of the health ministry at Saint Margaret Mary is to enhance and promote the well-being of the parish community. It is based on a model for how Christians can touch the whole person, physical and spiritual.

Parish Health Ministry Goals

1. Promote wellness within the Parish Community Objectives:

Mass of Anointing in Fall and Spring
Sponsor Blood drive twice a year
Provide a monthly blood pressure screening
Update AED/First aide equipment in parish
Provide First Aid coverage at Parish Picnic and Festival of Friendship

2. Maintain awareness of wellness through the educational process (this includes both resources and informational programs)

Objectives:

Sponsor health education programs
Provide Health Information/Tips
Organize CPR Training
Links to health information sites
Provide First Aid coverage at Parish Picnic and Festival of Friendship
