Parish Choir is a community of men and women who love to sing, and are committed to support and enhance the assembly’s worship on Sunday and Feast day liturgies. We sing a wide variety of musical styles - contemporary, traditional, classical, and gospel. Anyone is welcome who is high-school age or older and can sing on pitch. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings, 6:45—8:45 p.m. September through May, in the church.

Junior Youth Choir
All fourth through sixth graders please join us. This choir meets in the church from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm on Wednesdays. The Jr. Youth choir sings several times a year in combination with all the other youth choirs. You are invited to come, learn, and share your musical gifts with SMM Parish! All youth in grades seven through twelve are invited to join!
We rehearse on Sunday evenings from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm, beginning in August. This choir sings an average of two liturgies per month, from September through June. We sing with the Parish Choir for Triduum other major liturgies.
The Youth Choir is an extension of the Youth Ministry here at SMM. Each month various youth participate as Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and Ushers.

Cantors perform an important ministry by leading the assembly in sung prayer. Cantors are scheduled in advance and rehearse prior to the weekend scheduled to sing.
All children ages 4 to kindergarten are welcome. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm in room B-6 in the Center. This choir sings several times a year in combination with all the other youth choirs. This is a great way to introduce your child to music in a faith-filled environment. Scholas are small groups of singers (usually 3-5) who lead the assembly in sung prayer. They often sing in four-part harmony and rehearse prior to the weekend they sing.
