Bereavement Support Group
St. Joseph Church Bereavement Support Group
Purpose: To provide a safe place for people to mourn and share feelings with others with similar experiences, also to educate the bereaved about the grief process and normal grief reactions.
Six Week Sessions
Offered twice a year. (Monday evenings - next session to be announced.) Spring (Lent) Fall (All Souls Day)

Bereavement Ministries
Parish Funerals
SMM Resurrection Choir provides the music for parish funeral liturgies. Members of the Choir serve as lectors when necessary. Members of the Ladies Guild provide an honor guard with lighted candles.
Mercy Meals
Mercy meals are provided for parishioners who experience the death of a loved one. Parishioners donate their time to this ministry to prepare and serve these meals. If you are interested in assisting with this ministry please contact the parish office.
