OCIA
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process through which unbaptized adults prepare to receive the Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist—and become full members of the Catholic Church. Baptized Christians from other faith traditions who are seeking full communion with the Catholic Church also prepare through the OCIA process.
OCIA includes opportunities for prayer, study, community, and participation in the liturgical rites that mark each stage of the initiation process. Formation sessions will begin August 9th.
If you or someone you know would like to learn more, please contact Timothy Ruflin in the parish office to schedule an introductory meeting. There is no obligation—simply an opportunity to ask questions and explore the Catholic faith.
